“If you knew you couldn’t fail, what would you do with your life?” That’s a question that keeps presenting itself to me. What success or experiences am I missing out on because of my own fear of failure? As humans, in our flesh, we are motivated by two things; pleasure or pain. We are willing to take certain risks and go out of our comfort zone if we are rewarded with pleasurable results. However, sometimes we do not believe those results are obtainable and therefore avoid any pain that might be derived from stepping out in faith. Read More

If you have Candida - spit, chew, and swallow!
Posted by Julene Saunders at 28 May, 2008
(2) CommentsAny individual wanting to experience optimum health with good digestion must pay close attention to what they are eating and how they are eating it. This is especially true when for those whose systems are already compromised. Digestion in the body takes a great deal of energy, up to 40 – 60% in a relatively healthy individual. However, those who are treating Candida Albicans have added stress on their systems that causes them to use more energy for the same job, up to 80%. There are some simple techniques to aid in proper digestion.
Cooking good tasting and colorful food will actually aid in digesting. The first step in digestion is in the mouth when you chew and mix your food with your saliva. When you spend time preparing your food you are also preparing your mouth! Your saliva glands will start to secrete at the expectation of eating the food. This is especially true if it smells good, looks good, and is over all appetizing to you. It is worth the time and energy to find the foods you can eat that you love, and prepare it yourself. How to be a strong and courageous leader in a home business?
Posted by Julene Saunders at 20 May, 2008
(1) CommentsLeadership has been a big question for me lately. I have a home business that has been built up into a team of people that I am to lead. So what does leadership look like for me? I wonder these things because my very personality is fun loving and laid back but I know God is calling me to be more than I have been before. A new favorite verse for me is Isaiah 42:16 “I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them.” This verse came up in a bible study I was doing and I just loved it! I then received a daily devotional book from a friend on leadership and that was the opening verse, I didn’t even realize that this was a verse to be applied to a leader. So cool!

(1) CommentsI love how God works. Nearly a year ago my husband joined Uri International because he was interested in the products but he was also looking for a business to work from home. I was not interested!! I was actually irritated! I saw it as a whole lot more work for me to do in helping him in this home business adventure. But God had a plan for me in Uri International.

There are a myriad of unfavorable conditions resulting from Candida overgrowth with symptoms ranging from dizziness, fatigue, brain fog, irritable bowel syndrome, skin itching—the list seems endless. Although Candidiasis is a very common yeast infection, many people still do not know that they already have an overgrowth of Candida albicans. A beautiful day with thoughts of my Manly Man!

Today has been a lovely day! One of those days when there aren’t a ton of expectations of what needs to be done, so I get done what I want done. I got to clean and pretty my house (rotated some décor) and that always makes me happy. A friend stopped by and we had a nice visit (oh, did I mention she gave me a necklace tooJ My son has been happy to play in his room quietly and my refrigerator is FULL of food. AAAHHHH, what peaceJ Of course my perfect peace is in Jesus Himself, and when I crank up the worship music (like today) I get to sing His praises! I know a certain amount of chaos is just around the corner, my husband and daughters will be home in an hour, but until then I am at AAAAHHHHH.
Here is a thought, some time back in our many home renovations (we live in a 60yr old fixer upper) I considered writing a book about my husband. Now you should know that even though you are reading this because I wrote it, I am actually not a writer. But there are some things about my husband that are just too good not to share! I believe the title I had decided on was “The many catastrophes of a Manly Man!”
