First comes Anemia, next comes Candida, then comes Hypothyroidism!

Chronic fatigue, muscle aches, dizziness, and cold intolerance – I thought all of this was brought on by a combination of Systemic Candida and severe anemia, but maybe not! After going over my lab results with my doctor and explaining the symptoms I have been experiencing, she felt I had Hypothyroidism. AAGGHH! I don’t know anything about hypothyroidism. So I hit the books!
Hypothyroidism Type 2 the Epidemic by Mark Starr M.D. gives a long list of symptoms to be aware of.
• Fatigue
• Candida (yeast infections)
• Dry skin
• Premature aging
• P.M.S.
• Headaches
• Muscle weakness
• Arthritis/gout
• Low blood pressure
• Joint/muscle pain
• Intolerance to cold
• Health palpitations
The list goes on but is too long to continue, these are just some highlights. I started out with anemia and sinus infections that led my doctor to Candida. Now the anemia, sinus infections and Candida are leading to hypothyroidism! Is this it? What does hypothyroidism lead on to?! I have started taking thyroid medication and sincerely hope this helps. They say the medication can help after just a few days or it can take a couple of weeks. A lesson in patience:roll:
I will keep you informed on the progress!
