Candida diet - Heavenly suggestion or sin of omission?

“I don’t think anemia is your main problem, I think you have Candida” - its been a year since I heard those words. A lot of things have happened in the last year, healing from Candida is not one of them:( It has been really tough to stick to a good diet lately, we haven’t been buying as much organic produce because of the cost of food. Anyone else feeling the money crunch!?! I am very thankful I can still get The Feast by Uri International for some really great nutrition.
Heres the deal, I have gotten bored with the whole Candida thing, actually with nutrition all together. I know it is as important today as it was the day God gave me a passion for it, I just haven’t stayed focused on it over the summer months. I am in need of a renewing of mymind! (Ro.12:2)
I am also trying to decide if it is a sin for me to eat sugar and yeast. Sounds silly I know but I was reading this book that made me go, hhmmmm? Is it? I guess I should explain my round about way of thought:)
When I was headed for my appointment a year ago, I heard down in my spirit “Your going to have a major diet change and it involves sugar.” Again I thought, hhmmmmm? Wha’s that Lord? And of course He was right! So I embraced the change because HE had prepared me to accept it, but over time I have gotten casual about it. I saw some improvements in my health and decided that I could afford to feel bad every once in a while when I ate poorly (like berry cobbler last night!).
But this book that I just read ”Radical Warriors require Radical Training” by Steve Schultz gave me a new perspective about sin. He uses James 4:17 - ”Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” Steve goes on to say ”When revelation comes to our hearts, we can no longer plead ignorance of the will of God. The Lord demands an obedience from us, just as much as I expect obedience from my son when I tell him, “Please go to your room.” the clearer the revelation of my will, the greater the responsibility for my children to resond properly. Being responsive to the voice of God is not an option, it is a must! Many times the Lord brings us revelation of His will but we think of it as only a “heavenly suggestion,” missing the point that He is trying to save us from loss of time, happiness and perhaps even loss of life!”
WOW! So does eating sugar - for ME people (not everyone else) fall under the sin category of omission?
I humbly await your replies while I work my salvation out with fear and trembling!!
