“I don’t think anemia is your main problem, I think you have Candida” - its been a year since I heard those words. A lot of things have happened in the last year, healing from Candida is not one of them:(  It has been really tough to stick to a good diet lately, we haven’t been buying as much organic produce because of the cost of food. Anyone else feeling the money crunch!?! I am very thankful I can still get The Feast by Uri International for some really great nutrition.

Heres the deal, I have gotten bored with the whole Candida thing, actually with nutrition all together. I know it is as important today as it was the day God gave me a passion for it, I just haven’t stayed focused on it over the summer months. I am in need of a renewing of mymind! is a horrible thing! The first time I had ever heard of it was when the movie “Rain man” came out with Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. Somehow I don’t think Hollywood gave a true picture of how very awful this disease could be. I watched a 4year old boy last year that had a “mild” case of and it was difficult, but I actually felt blessed that he was not as severe as some can be. We had new heating and air put in our home while I was doing daycare, so I warned the workers that this little boy behaved “different “from the other kids. Turned out one of the workers had a young adult child that was “severely” autistic. He said there was no relationship at all, no response on her part whatsoever. It broke my heart to think of this young woman trapped in her own mind with no emotional connection with others. Here is what is interesting, this father stood very firm in his belief that it was all the ‘pink drink’ (antibiotics) that was given to her as a young child for ear infections that caused the !

Shortly after being told I had Systemic and to stay away from foods like wheat, corn, dairy, and chicken, I visited a health food store and in my conversation with the owner she asked “are you ?” I think my reaction was “huh?!” Let’s face it, up until a year ago I was not very nutritional minded! I learned that gluten is the protein found in grains like wheat, rye, and barley. People can be VERY sensitive to gluten especially those who already have a problem with Albicans.

I don’t think I had a gluten problem until I had a problem, or maybe I didn’t have a problem until I had a gluten problem. Either way, they seemed to go together for me. The most common explanation given for this is through the ‘.’  This occurs when there is a disruption of the healthy and normal lining of the intestines. destructs this lining by piercing the walls of the gut, thereby causing it to become more porous and permeable to a multitude of macromolecules, toxins, and antigens—all of which are elements that cause inflammatory and sudden to foods like gluten. Well, I went to see my doctor a couple weeks ago. I have been feeling really bad lately and wondering if I am going backward instead of forward with this treatment. I was doing so well for so long; I thought “I got this thing licked!” So what happened next? I started to get lax with my diet and treatment! I cut back with the and allowed my busy schedule to dictate my diet. Now I am paying for it!!

I have that feeling, dizziness, muscle aches, trouble concentrating (trouble writing this article!) and some added symptoms of muscle twitching and sometimes fuzzy vision. UGH!!! I want this to be over! I went back to my books and one says I need to go back to Phase II Diet religiously. I think that was my problem to start with – I followed it RELIGIOUSLY and then got self-righteous! What’s God say? Pride comes before the fall. Here I am on the ground needing to be picked up again! Maybe when we are in a humble state we are so low we don’t have room to fall:)

I go back this week for the blood test results for , vitamin B12, vitamin D, hormones, and who knows what else? I have been told to start a parasite cleanse again (I did that at the beginning of this treatment) and of course watch the diet! No more excuses (my business mentor says they are just well planned lies! She’s right).

So here I am being vulnerable and wanting encouragement, when my purpose for this blog was to encourage others! Tell me some of your success stories!! PPLLLEASSSE!

Any individual wanting to experience optimum health with good digestion must pay close attention to what they are eating and how they are eating it. This is especially true when for those whose systems are already compromised. Digestion in the body takes a great deal of energy, up to 40 – 60% in a relatively healthy individual. However, those who are treating Albicans have added stress on their systems that causes them to use more energy for the same job, up to 80%. There are some simple techniques to aid in .

Cooking good tasting and colorful food will actually aid in digesting. The first step in digestion is in the mouth when you chew and mix your food with your saliva. When you spend time preparing your food you are also preparing your mouth! Your saliva glands will start to secrete at the expectation of eating the food. This is especially true if it smells good, looks good, and is over all appetizing to you. It is worth the time and energy to find the foods you can eat that you love, and prepare it yourself.   fungusis found in various parts of the body such as mouth, skin, intestines and even the vagina. It has been proven that under normal conditions, the fungus resides at least 80% of humans. The fungus exists without causing harmful effects. As we have discussed before, problems arise when the fungus experiences an overgrowth.
