Uri International home business training while mopping up the dogs mess in the hall - I’VE DONE IT!

Yes you read that right, I was on a Uri International training call when my kids ran upstairs to tell me the dog wet on the floor. This is not a normal occurrence for him, he is a very good dog, and a very BIG dog so you can just imagine the mess! I will say that I was extremely thankful that my end of the call was already muted and that I had invested in a wireless headset and had both hands free to clean! Why am I telling you this?!? Did you know that this is one of the benefits of working from home? Not having my dog pee on the floor of course, but to be able to conduct business related tasks while still doing my ordinary living kind of things. I cannot express to you how cool it is to be sharing the Uri International business opportunity while sitting on my bedroom floor next to my 4 year old son who is playing with his hot wheels.
I am a wife, a mother of 3 beautiful children, and have enough pets to be considered a small petting zoo (dog-obviously, 2 cats, 3 chickens, 1 bunny, & 1 snake, and now 2 mice since the snake has not been interested in eating them!), and I am a business owner. How do I fit it all in? Well first and fore most I love it all! This wouldn’t work for me if I wasn’t doing what I believed in. Life is too short to be putting time and energy into unimportant things (sadly, cleaning toilets are important!). I am learning not to sweat the small stuff. I have to stick with the things that I really BELIEVE are important to me and my family: like quality time together, eating organic wholefoods, attending church, having lots of time to read, being with friends, doing business training and sharing The Feast. I don’t beat myself up about mistakes (or decide to lay down and die when resistance comes:). One of the cool things God has shown me lately; that everything good if life (which is Him) is not easy. I have spent most of my life following the path of least resistance (my motto in college was “Go with the flow!”) only to find myself miserable. So now, I have to push through the things that are difficult and am blessed by it every time! This morning that difficult thing was to be on a Uri International training call with 3 kids at home and a dog with a full bladder. It was a great call!
