What do I do, my kids are such picky eaters and I can’t get them to eat their fruits and vegetables?! I think this must be a very common complaint among parents in this day and age. Do you think that Laura Ingalls Wilder’s mom said that to her girlfriends when they met for tea socials? Probably not. Food has become an “issue” for parents. Sugar is in EVERYTHING, empty calories are abundant, and that is what kids love. Even when I try to make changes in my home by not serving these kinds of food, they just get it elsewhere. Our school frequently rewards their students with food (ice cream sandwiches if they earn their hawk dollars, root beer float parties if they meet certain standards in class, and pizza lunch with the principle if they go above and beyond in some area of academics). Even my post office keeps a bowl of candy at the register for any “little” customer that visits. Ugh!!! There is no way to eliminate all these empty calories from my kid’s diet. I don’t want to be a tyrant and tell them “no” to everything, so what is my line of defense?

Uri International-The Feast

While I provide and encourage my kids to eat their fruits and vegetables sometimes it isn’t enough (they need 5 to 9, right? That’s a lot!). So I supplement with ’s “The Feast” and “Beyond Berries”. My kids love it! It tastes like berries and they feel like they are getting a special treat. Well, they ARE getting a special treat! This is a treat that does their body good. Let’s look at how good:

The Feast” with a typical ORAC Value (Antioxidant value) of 1,990 per scoop. It contains 30 fruits and berries, 30 greens and vegetables, 11 nutrient dense seeds, nuts and sprouts, 83+ active enzymes and fulvic mineral blend, and 22 resilient living probiotics. Whew! That’s a lot.

Beyond Berries” with a typical ORAC value (Antioxidant value) of 4,140 per scoop. It contains 15 antioxidant rich fruits and berries, active enzymes and fulvic mineral blend, and resilient living probiotics. The ORAC difference is in the type of fruits and berries used.

Uri International-Beyond Berries

Here is the big difference between “The Feast”, “Beyond Berries”, and other popular breakfast drinks: ’s products only contain live whole foods! Other drinks are usually fortified (enriched, or added to make strong) so they are not containing the natural ingredients. In a time where our food contains so many additives, chemicals, and flavor enhancements it is important to seek out organic live whole foods for our children to provide the very best for their growing years. Give your kids the BEST; give them Uri International’s “The Feast” and “Beyond Berries”.
